EFCA Annual Meeting and Conference held in Lisabon from 24-26. May 2012. For the development of ACES as the National Assotiation of Assotiation of Consulting Engineers was of great importance to send its representatives to the Annual Assembly of EFCA.ACES members participated at this event.
At the meeting, ACES was officialy admitted to EFCA as a full member, after Serbia was granted the status of candidate for EU membership, which was a basic requirement for regular membership. This allowed ACES the addition of previous active participation in the work of EFCA, to participate in decisions concerning the European assotiation and its work, because the ACES qualify to vote at all meetings of the EFCA.
Andrea Šehić addressed to all present members of EFCA and thanked for the reception in this renowed European organization. She also stated that ACES expects support in achieving the objectives for improving the working conditions of Consulting Engineers in Serbia and improving the legal framework for the implementation of international standards, notably FIDIC model contracts.
