Vesna Prodanovic has graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade at the Department of Heat Engineering. She got her Masters Certificate at the University “George Washington“ in the England and Germany in the field of “Project Management”. Also, she is a certified Project manager – “Project Management Proffessional“. She is a member of SMEITS, PMI, PMI Serbia.
Ms. Prodanovic has worked in the field of design and construction, on drafting offers and negotiation, on project implementation as an engineer, coordinator, and later as Chief of works and Project manager on various projects in the country (Tourist complex “Hyatt Regency Crni vrh”; Medical clinic as part of the Clinical Center of Serbia Belgrade; US Steel – Sartid; Tobacco factory Monus Indjija; Shopping mall “Delta City”; University residential complex “Belville”; Reconstruction of the smelter and building a new sulfuric acid plant – RTB Bor) and abroad (Pharmaceutical factory Tiumen, Russia; Tobacco factory in Nigeria; three hospitals in Jamaica; Parliament building in Nigeria; Energocenter Minsk).
Since 2017 she holds a position of Deputy project manager – country lead in Bechtel.
She speaks English, Russian and German.
Nikola Matic is a qualified Engineer with over 25 years experience of Engineering in infrastructure and buildings. He is especially skilled in multi-disciplinary project studies different segments integration under the FIDIC model of contracts.
His experience embraces planning of land transportation and the engineering of the required infrastructure, including building sector.
He has large experience in negotiation, mediation, claim and contract management and problem solving on regionally funded projects.
Besides regular tasks in managing companies VMS and DNEC, he is responsible for all aspects of the supervision of construction, for the administration of construction contracts under various FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
He is a co-funder and Board member of the national consulting engineers association – ACES.
As of September 2015, as an Executive Member Board of Directors in EFCA (European Consultant Engineers Association) besides regular activities, he is responsible for driving Future Trends group, a newly formed EFCA sub-committee.
Over the last 15 years Mr. Matic has been engaged in numerous cases and trainings referred to the Legal, Technical and Claim & Disputes aspects of FIDIC use in the Projects.
Branislav has dynamic 30 – year career with leading international civil construction companies throughout South East Asia, Australia, Middle East and Europe. He was involved in construction of large and prestigious building and infrastructure projects such as: Zastava – FIAT, Univerzijada 2009 – Block 67, Porto Montenegro, Atlas Capital Center, Osijek Porta Nova Shopping Mall, Liman Park Project, IT Park Indjija and Belgrade Waterfront.
Branislav has thorough knowledge of construction and site development activities – from design to implementation and evaluation. Knowledge of construction project plan requirements, cost estimating, specification writing, building/site codes and standards and inspection techniques, knowledge of financial procedures to maintain project cost control. Branislav has expertise in preparation of project quality assurance programs, preparation and implementation of policies, procedures, and practices for design and construction quality management
He has been a Member of the ACES Board ever since its foundation in 2009, and served as the President from 2015-2017.
Prior to establishing of ACES, in the period from 2006 to 2009 he was actively involved in FIDIC activities, as Company MACE, with Branislav as Regional Director was the Affiliate member of FIDIC for Serbia. It was under his leadership that MACE became a co-founder of the National Association of Consulting Engineers in Serbia.
Mr.Simovic has been working as Consultant in Hill International since September 2017.
He is also a Corporate Member, Chartered Engineer, Member Civil College Institution of Engineers Australia, NPER, Member of The association of Professional Engineers, Australia, Member of The Quality Society of Australasia, Member of The Institute of Quality Assurance – London, UK, Member of The National Safety Council of Australia, Member of American Society of Safety Engineers, USA and a Member of Serbian Chamber of Engineers, Serbia.
BS and MS at Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade – Department of Structures, where she continued professional engagement as teaching assistant at Steel Structures, until 2006.
During her academic career, she was the President of the Supervisory Board and the Member of the Presidency of YASE (Yugoslav Association of Structural Engineers), from which she was awarded as a credited member. Dragana is author of numerous scientific papers and co- author of the monograph “Steel Structures”. As a designer of steel structures, she participated in the development of a number of projects, and is one of the initiators and active participants in the introduction and implementation of structural Eurocodes in construction practices in Serbia.
From 2000 Dragana developed fruitful career in project management and real estate development. She has been involved in the development of one of the largest real estate portfolios in the region as a part of the largest private company in Serbia – Delta, at first as Project Manager, than Delta Real Estate Development Director, Director of Delta Invest, having the position of CEO at Delta Real Estate and the member of the Board of Directors of Delta Holding in 2011.
Since August 2012 with partners she started private company JAI Development&Consulting primarily oriented to investment and consulting in the field of renewable energy resources and real estate.
Sasa Trajkovic is graduated civil engineer, director, and owner of STMG Consultancy d.o.o. Beograd, leading consulting company in the field of civil engineering in the Region. Mr.Trajkovic has a working experience of over 26 years in managing projects for building business and residential buildings, shopping malls, etc. Working on capital projects, he developed leadership skills and built relationships with clients based on understanding, common interest and already proven success.
In his professional career, Sasa Trajkovic gained significant knowledge, expertise and experience in the field of consulting engineering, both in the domestic and international markets.

Nebojša Šurlan completed the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade in 1997 and received the Diploma on acquired higher education and professional title of a graduated mechanical engineer, equivalent to the academic title of master (M.Sc.). He started the PhD studies at the Faculty of Construction Management of the University Union Nikola Tesla in 2010, and received his PhD in Business and Management (Sustainable development management) in 2015.He also passed an international certification for Project Management (Project ManagementProfessional) in 2010, organized by the Project Management Institute in the United States.
His professional career started 1998 in ,,Instalacija inženjering“, a contracting company, moving in2000 to PMC Engineering (a subsidiary company of Jugoimport-SDPR) as a mechanical engineer and project manager on various projects throughout Serbia. Next engagement was in international company Mace in 2004 on projects refurbishment of Tobacco Factory DIN of the investor ,,PhilipMorris“, Delta City Shopping Mall and Belvil- Universiade-Block 67 in Belgrade. After that, in 2008, Nebojša joined the Mace team on the project of Porto Montenegro in Montenegro and other Mace Montenegro Projects such as Atlas Capital Center in Podgorica, Wyndham Hotel in Budva and Lustica Bay Development in Tivat.
Since 2012 to date he is Director of the Building Directorate of Serbia (BDS), a company founded by the Republic of Serbia to implement its own projects in building construction, management and implementation of projects of interest to the Republic of Serbia. The BDS as an investor completed more than 1.300.000 m2 of residential and commercial developments on projects such as Stepa Stepanović, Dr. Ivan Ribar, Zemunske Kapije and Five in Block 63 in Belgrade.
Additional to professional work, he lectured on trainings on Project Management and FIDIC from 2008 – 2012. He is a member of Serbian Chamber of Engineers (from 2003), Engineers Chamber of Montenegro (from 2008 till 2012), Association of Consulting Engineers of Montenegro (ACEM) – A Board member (from 2010 till 2012), Association of Consulting Engineers of Serbia (ACES)-Nationallist of experts and adjudicators (from 2016) and Association of Consulting Engineers of Serbia (ACES)-Member of Management Board (from 2019)
Nikola Pavlovic has graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, at University of Belgrade, Department for Structural Engineering and became Master of Science (Civil Engineering). Since 2015, he is a certified PMP („Project Management Professional“). Currently, Mr. Pavlovic holds the position of Director for marketing, technical preparation and business development at Energoprojekt Visokogradnja plc., leading construction company in southeast Europe, which executed many complex projects in over 50 countries around the world.
During its career, Mr. Pavlovic was directly included in the construction of high-rise buildings and industrial plants on international projects. He is specialised in negotiation, contracting, managing FIDIC Contracts, preparation and defending of construction claims. Mr. Pavlovic is actively involved in FIDIC Contracts since the very beginning of his career. Since 2019, he is one of the trainers for Local FIDIC training, organized by ACES.
Mr. Pavlovic is an active member of the Serbian Chamber of Engineers and has licences for Design and Execution of the Works. He is also a member of PMI (“Project Management Institute”) and PMI Serbia. Mr. Pavlovic is Co-Founder of website related to claims in the construction business: www.construction-claim.com.
